25-year-old Sumter County woman killed when truck hits concrete barrier

A 25-year-old Sumter County woman was killed when her truck struck a concrete barrier early Monday morning on County Road 470.

Kellie Marie Powell of Lake Panasoffkee had been at the wheel of a 2000 Ford Ranger at 2:36 a.m. on County Road 470 and County Road 300 when her truck left the roadway and struck the barrier, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

She died at the scene of the accident.
